Art in East Herts Kicks off

We started our first Art in East Herts series of workshops on Saturday when the delightful Deana Kim Page taught a workshop on how to use Acrylics to paint their favourite pet or animal.

We had new people to Master Art Workshops and some of our lovely clients returning to take part in a fun and lively session.

All were made welcome with tea/coffee and cookies and they later had home made cake or fresh fruit.

Deana commenced by getting us to choose our colours and paint a background and many used different methods to get a textured effects or produce lovely colours that our pet would sit on. We were painting big today on A3 canvases.

We all sketched carefully where we wanted our animals to be on the canvas and then tentatively we started painting them, gradually adding more details and creating thin brush strokes to create fur to bring the pets to life.

We all took home our Pet or Animal masterpieces and were proud of our achievements.
