Great Glass Masterclass!!!

We had a lovely day with Laura Brooks Payne who led a masterclass on creating a glass panel. She started the session by showing us how to cut glass carefully, then provided some examples to wet our appetite. The students produced such amazing designs and many were beginners.

Although hot we were all kept cool and the ice popsicles helped! Refreshments included a refreshing fruit salad and a delicious Victoria sponge.

The results of the glass panels were outstanding and now Laura will take away to be fired before returning the finished plates that can be freestanding or hung up against a window for maximum effect!
