On Saturday we had a go getting to grips with the calligraphy pens and learning to write in paint and ink. Jane Lappage showed us the different calligraphy styles and how to write in modern calligraphy. It took a lot of practice and was very relaxing learning how to construct words and sentences in a fabulous style. We then added our own swirls and artwork to some small projects. Lunch was delicious as always and we relaxed and chatted with good food and great company. Everyone was so enthralled we made some small purchases so we could continue to practice what we had learnt at home.
