Into the dark to watch the master Frank Walters on his projector create a fabulous landscape painting in watercolours, explaining what paints, brushes and paper to use.
We watched as he detailed two techniques painting onto dry paper to create our first painting a delightful villa with rows of lavender.
Then Frank showed us how to use a wet on wet technique to allow the colours to mix and move on wet paper. This time a farm building with wonderful shadows!
Lunch was at the Five Horseshoes and a delicious dessert back at the hall
In the end we all had two masterpieces to take away with us.
